Fate of the Bullies...

So, I heard from my publisher today, and they have tentatively accepted Bullies to be published May of 07.  

Always exciting news...

Whoa, that's a fast turnaround.

Congrats! So, do you feel your experiment worked?

Firemeboy:
To a small degree, yes.  With my first book, I wrote it, my sis-in-law edited it, and that was that.  With this book she took a bigger part in it, because she saw it unfold as it went.  She gave me feedback as it was being created, instead of at the end.  

There were only three other people who 'contributed', but only to a very minor extent.  

I wouldn't really say that this was a true collaborative experience on a large scale just because there were only two of us.

My hopes are that when this book is published, I can put my website in the book, and ask for help with the last book in the series.  The topic will be Scouting, and everybody has a funny story about some scout trip they went on.  My hopes are that with 3-4 thousand books sold, and more in the library being read, that people will drop by the site and become involved...
