Fan Mail

Whew!  I've decided that Mondays would be my fan mail day, and so I save them all up to answer.  It took me four hours to get through the latest batch.  People are liking the book, though!

How many individual letters have you gotten? How many emails?
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

Ookla,

Chimera chastised me for that post above making it sound like I got TONS of fan mail.  I haven't really gotten that much, I just like to spend a good amount of time answering it.

So far, I've gotten about 50 emails through the bs.com form.  Nothing paper yet.

I didn't chastize. I teased you for making it sound like, "Oh, I'm an important published author and I have SO many emails and everyone loves me and it takes hours to respond to them all because I'm SO popular..."

You know, like Gilderoy Lockhart. We wouldn't want you to become like him.  ;)

But I know that you are just excited. I would be excited to get fanmail and to know that people are enjoying what I wrote. And we are excited for you, too. Right now all us hopeful writers are living vicariously through you.  ;D
