Brandon Sanderson is a nice guy

So tonight I met him, and he's really cool, although I felt like I was giving him notes for an unwritten book. We went to Peking Inn, a nice chinese place off Rt 7 in Bailys Crossroads (for you DC types)
Peking Inn is the Chinese Restaurant favored by presidents, the walls are covered with pictures of Generals Statesmen and of course Every President since Reagan. But it is a Bush family favorite, and his cabinet dines there often although none of them were there this evening still the food was good and he's an interesting guy. Really interesting.  Afterwords we went to maggie moos for Ice Cream and then dropped him off so he could go see a friend play music at Java Joes in Vienna (VA people, I did not drive to Europe)...

Anyhow...
he's cool.

Brandon strikes me as nice, though I've not spent much time with him in person, and especially not in the last few years.

He leaves his clothes on the kitchen table and gets sunflower seed shells all over the place.

This thread was getting far too positive, I felt compelled to balance it out.
