What, so little faith in your own kind, e?
Okay, okay, I admit that your delightful simile gave me a hearty laugh. It's so... true, sad to say, which is why I couldn't help laugh out loud. (Ah, now maybe I'm in a good enough mood to make myself read those book marketing chapters for class tonight...)
However, to be fair, perhaps the whole anorexia issue kind of overshadowed the mention of a "crush" in that post, eh?

Pants money!? :(

And I totally blanked on the 'crush' thing. Though admittedly i'd probably have to change personality a couple degrees to the left to pay over much attention to that word :P
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

Good deal. I figured that you probably had loose pocket change in mind. However, I also amused myself by postulating that you have some bizarre obsession with pants, like if you'd established a Pants Purchasing Fund, which can be used in case of pizza emergencies.

Yeah, I'm pretty bored right now. I've still got about 150 pages of book pub marketing crap to wade through. *sigh*

Believe me, you're not far off. He does have a bizarre obsession with pants. Pants and ninja monkeys.

And Ninja Monkeys wearing pants.

You know, Ari amazes me.  She's the only girl I think I've ever dined with that can keep up with me gastronomically - My family are some big eaters, and they joke about how I have a hollow leg.

So I don't know how she keeps a 15" waist.  (Yes, that IS light hyperbole.  Don't freak out)

I'll be grumpy for sucking at NaNoWriMo, though.

And I think a good friend of mine might have had Hodgkins while he was in high school.  He's pretty much fully recovered now, and going to BYU.

My husband is depressed to the point of breakdown, (doctor? why would he do that?) and his mom and brother are downstairs yelling at each other.  I'm upstairs with the dog with my door closed.

I'm grumpy because I just googled "Elantris fanfic" and there were no matches. I was really really hoping for some bad fanfic to post on this board and annoy EUOL with.

And no, I don't want to write a bad Elantris fanfic.

Now on the other hand if he ever publishes Dragonsteel I may have to write some bad Dragonsteel fanfic.... under a carefully anonymous psuedonymn of course.
