A copy of Dragonsteel is at the BYU library, for those interested in reading it. Just thought I'd point that out.

Ookla,

Tor is one of the publishers we'll shop it at.  Joshua wants to see where we can go with this one, since the MISTBORN books are already tied to Tor.

Does this mean I shouldn't finish my second reading of Alcatraz (i've put that off much longer than I ever should have)?

Also, I have Well of Ascension, are you still looking for comments?

I'm really sorry, I've been neglecting work I promised to do.

If you need comments on stuff, you can send me some, too. I'll take whatever.

Ah, I thought you said Alcatraz was one of the books Tor had first look rights on from the previous contract, since you finished it before Hero of Ages.
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

Um, me too--I've still got WELL on my computer, scratching at the back door of my thoughts. Sorry! :-[ I want to finish it, I really do--all 800+ pages of the thing. But I also have a desire to pass my classes. *sigh*
So, EUOL, since I won't get to spend some quality time with Vin, Elend, and the gang until Cmas break when I'm back to UT for a while, are you still looking for comments or not? Speak now or forever forgo the reams and reams of nitpicky comments I'd produce! Going once, going twice . . .
Otherwise I'll read the ms. purely for the fun of it with no guilt whatsoever. ;D

e, don't you see? You've just given MsFish warning about your impeding beratement, and thus lost the element of surprise. It would have gone better if you'd not mentioned it, caught up to where you need to be, and then have your ninja monkeys distract her while you follow up with a berating from behind! It's brilliant! I'm Brilliant!

I can do that anyway. It's more interesting when they think they can prepare for it.

yep, the false sense of security will get them every time--if the ninja monkeys don't, of course.

So EUOL, how do you want your comments for Dark One? An attachment, a seperate e-mail or what? I am likely to have them done by todayish and would like to know.

Oh fear not.  I knew the beratement was coming.  Besides, no beratement could compare to the one I've already put myself through.

I will read it Eric! I swear!

Oh, and I never sent you the revision of Haylee like I said I would, and I'm sending it to some other people, so I'll send it to you too, but you are, of course, not expected to get to it for at least twice as long as I've taken getting to yours.  (Sorry again.  )

EUOL, I'm assuming that I'll see Dark One when you've got a finished draft? Or when I finish Alcatraz, whichever comes first. :)
