Welcome to the Brandon Sanderson Forum.  I'm glad you found your way here.  There are a few things you should know.

1)  I do frequent these forums, under the name EUOL.  If you post here, I'll read your words--though whether or not I actually post a reply will depend on how busy I am with writing!

2) My forum is hosted by a much larger forum community, the Time-Waster's Guide.  While many of those who post here have read my books, don't assume that everyone on the boards is interested in talking about me or my work.  The TWG was around long before I got published.  Please keep all Brandon Sanderson related threads to this particular section of the forum!

3) Also, I do suggest you venture outside of my little section here and experience the TWG at large.  The main site has lots of interesting articles (get there by clicking the banner at the top of the page).  If you're going to post on the forums, please read the FAQ thread: http://www.timewastersguide.com/forum/index.php?topic=11.0


Finally, by virtue of coming to my forum and actually reading the welcome thread, you enter an elite group.  If you ever want to read sample chapters of books I'm working on (long before I post those chapters on my website) just give me a holler and I'll send them off.  If you stick around a while and convince me you're trustworthy, and I might even be willing to send you electronic copies of some of my older, unpublished novels.

Brandon's forum is part of a larger community, The Official Time-Waster's Guide, so a few of the things you would normally post in a forum belong somewhere else. This subforum is only for discussions relating directly to Brandon Sanderson or the things he has written. Other authors, movies, games, and general chitchat belong in other subforums you can access from the "TWG Forums" link near the top of the screen. There are subforums for Roleplaying, Video Games, Books, Movies and TV, Music, Webcomics, Tabletop Games, CCGs, Rants and "Everything Else." We encourage you to explore these other forums as well, because we think you'll find the people and conversations interesting
