Mistborn LJ
« on: August 07, 2006, 05:58:07 PM »
Very cool. Glad you discovered LJ. Now, are you going to copy the posts from your blog over every time? I told Sprig about the LJ feed thing--you should look into it, so that you don't have to actually go copy it over every time.

But anyway, it makes it very convenient for me. I read my friends page every day, but having to check your site for a new posting and then there not being one, or going days without looking and then catching up, is much less convenient.

Stacer,

(By the way, got your email.  I'm backlogged again, but I will respond!  I promise.)

Anyway, we're working on how to auto-post from my website.  You can do it via email, which I've tested.  My hope is that eventually I'll be able to post to my site, then either have it send an automatic email to LJ and Blogger (where I have another mirror) or send one myself, which will be faster than bringing over every post.

I kind of figure it would be a nice thing to do for people, like yourself, who already are established in a blogging community.  A way to gain more publicity, but also let people follow changes to the website more easily.

I just found out about this, and realized you'll probably want to submit your LJ to be part of this list. People search it for publishing professionals and just authors, I believe.

I think I'm going to tell all my authors the same, if they're not on it already.

I've submitted brandon's blog to the whitelist before and was quite rudely told that it was for LJ authors only.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

Did you tell them about the LJ, or the blog itself? They had no need to be rude, but if he didn't have the LJ before, maybe that's why? They show a lot of bloggers with the feeds I've talked about, but no actual blog links.
