Well, we should probably start organizing this thing, eh?  Last year, we had the party when the books came from Tor.  Seems like a sound enough tradition.  

I haven't gotten them yet, but they should come next week.  Are people interested in a party at the Salt Lake Bucca Di Beppo (or however you spell that?)  Or, with the wedding and Worldcon, are folks over-partied?

I'd be up for it if it was at the Midvale Bucca, no reason to go all the way to 4th.

ha! I haven't even been watching the worldcon thread. guess the 23rd is right out. :D

Here's my schedule (roughly). I fly into SLC on Friday 18th. Not sure what time I arrive. I stay at my grandparents in Bountaful till monday lunchtime-ish (or a little later). Then we head up to Bear lake for a few days, Pretty sure I'm back in central Utah on Wednesday. Then it's down to Flagstaff on Thursday and back hom the following sunday.

So. if we did it that Saturday (the 19th) I could probably do it too.

note that my whole family will be there (wife, 4 spawnlings). I'm pretty sure we'd get my cousin to babysit though instead of bringing any rugrats.

However, if that's not working for people, I won't complain. Until this morning, I had no plans at all to see friends, so i'm cool with that.

I could probably swing the 19th to see E. And I vote we do it at downtown Buca, just to see if Sprig actually refuses to come.

Let's make it official, then!  The chance to see Eric is too good to pass up.  Plus, I'll be signing in West Jordan that afternoon, so it will be very easy to pop over for a Bucca party that evening.

So, let's say 6:00pm at the Midvale Bucca.  Everyone post on this thread if you can come, and I'll make a reservation!

Note: I am NOT paying this time!  (Except for me and Emily.)
