Concerts in an area...

that you think somone is near. Like take this one for example:

$3 is all it costs for this wonderfully city-subsidized summerfest.
We're on at 7pm sharp!
This is where to go: Pennsylvania Ave between 3rd and 6th in DC.
Also on the bill are the fresh and lovely Arrested Development!

Thats for a TMBG in the DC area, which I guess the Jeffe is around. I don't know about anyone else, but were I Jeffe I'd go since you can't really beat that price. So go, you bum, and record it for me...us. :P

arrested development, ick, but the winning combo tomorrow is TMBG and Big Head Todd and the Monsters. Too bad I'll be either babysitting a brother-in-law or watching my wife deliver a baby (depending what time frame mother nature decides on). But that price kicks ass. Especially since proceeds go to charity (one I think is kind of silly, but I at least admire the sentiment). HFS is still cool, even if the music is getting weird and strange.

I should just stop listening to HFS altogether. I don't really care for most of their programming anymore, but they host these really cool concerts I can't get to but I'd love to.

Yesterday the "Live on Penn" concert was Blues Traveler and Cowboy Mouth; as always, the cost was three bones, all proceeds going to charity. Blues Traveler I think is fun but I don't know that I'd go downtown for, but Cowboy Mouth... wow. That's a show.
