Coldplay also won for Clocks.  Foo Fighters took a well-deserved Grammy for Rock album, and the White Stripes got a few (and I think they deserved them.)

I guess there's no reason to restart this discussion, but I think a number of worthy artists got recognized.

Yeah, I was really excited about Foo Fighters, Evanescence, and White Stripes (though the White Stripes song that won isn't really their best). I was also pleased to see Eminem win, but he already won an Oscar for that song so I suppose it was a foregone conclusion. Plenty of jank walked home with plenty of awards, but mostly in categories that don't interest me. The groups I cared about won, so I'm happy.
