To ground all this, JP (and to overlook the "it can't be cyberpunk if it's called cyberpunk" argument I so want to contend), what do you think about Billy Idol's other music?

Havn't heard a lot of Billy Idol's stuff, to be honest - I was comparing this to the stuff I HAVE heard. But it's cool, in a really cheesy sort of way. I love the album, but I'm kinda embarrassed about it - more so than even the Spice Girls.

then I suggest you have your priorities out of whack. The Spice Girls should embarass you more than just about any non-boy band group.

But the Spice Girls are the pinnacle of the manufactured pop music genre. There is nothing more refined and sterile than this stuff. And it's just so cool in a cheesy sort of way.

Ok, I think I better stop now. People I know could be reading this.
