Altered Images- You can almost put "See those Eyes" in a John Hughes movie.

The Damned - Grimly Fiendish ... Cool name, cooler song, this ones proto-goth with a Peter Loriesque Lead singer.

The Church- Mind numbing Guitar... INXS style lyrics...
where are these guys now?

Cocteau Twins- Carolyn's Fingers _ I think the sundays learned a trick or two from these two.

The Call- Everywhere I go.   Has a Peter Murphy like quality.

Chris Issak- You owe me some kind of love.... Before wicked game Chris could rock

The Church wasn't much good. They had two or three decent songs. Tried to make a come-back around 1994. Didn't have what it takes, and now they're in obscurity.

And... there are many good reasons why the Cocteau Twins didn't get any due.

I have to disagree that Issak doesn't get his due. He's pretty well respected.
