I've been listening to the latest All That Remains cd, Overcome, pretty much non-stop. I just can't get enough of the song Two Weeks.

Has anyone heard the song 'Don't Fear the Reaper?' I know, it sounds kind of weird, and I don't even really care for the song that much it's just that it has this really cool guitar solo in the middle that I love.

Are you referring to the song done by Blue Oyster Cult? A classic.

Indeed it is. I was just listening to their Spectres album (their best, IMHO). Pure brilliance.

I don't suffer from insanity...  I enjoy every minuet of it!

It's ok to be strange, as long as it's on paper. :)

I'm listening to/playing a piece originally written for cello (I'm playing it on the violin) called Suite Francaise by Paul Bazelaire. It has five movements two of them are slow and one of them is a lullaby and they're all really beautiful.

Shaggy, for a 12 year old you are quite the renaissance man.

Haha, thank you. Some small sliver of culture and sophistication must survive these changes in society.…

I have been listening to a massive amount of Joe Dassin lately, though I'm over that now.  (Guy sure was prolific, though.)

More recently I've been listening to (and enjoying) my new purchase of David Downes' original album: Pavilion (later renamed "The Rusted Wheel of Things", after its most well-known track).

Shaggy, Don't Fear the Reaper is a great song! A classic! As for what I am listening to now, The Killers' Day and Age is on my iPod. It's not their best, but it is still very good, imo. If you want to hear a couple songs from the album try Spaceman and I Can't Stay.

Jamiroquai.  Always Jamiroquai.

(ok, and Rise Against as well...)

Don't look now folks, but we get new U2, Depeche Mode, 311, Linkin Park, Jamiroquai, and perhaps AFI this year.

I've recently rediscovered my dad's vinyl collection, so I have been rocking out to some Jethro Tull, Zepp and Floyd.

Rock on.
