Peter Brienholt and the Big Parade.

I'd never heard of him until I moved to Utah, but I like his music and have been a devoted fan for the last five years (to his real CDs at least, not the Church EFY stuff, even though that is good too).

Dark Side of the Moon is the only Pink Floyd I've ever heard, because I asked someone what the best album was, they said that so I picked it up. I therefore assumed it would, y'know, be representative of the group as a whole.

well, y'know what happens when you assume. Listen to ummagumma or The Piper At the Gates of Dawn. Not blues.

What happens when I assume? You mean I'm right, because I'm the best person in the world, I'm better than you and everyone else, and I only think right things, because anything I think automatically becomes right?

So I'm listening to a CD I've had for years but probably haven't listened to in almost as long, Secret of Mana+ which is a 1 track cd (50 minutes long) of all the music from the game arranged in a interesting way.  Like useing Telephone button tones for the beat.

Right now I'm listening to: nothing.

The last thing I listened to: some weird CD that my brother's friend made for him, it has some totally awesome wind ocarina songs on it.

Right now I've got a lovely, if somewhat strange, mix of a Dutch band called Twarres, Celtic Christmas carols, and Nightwish playing. :)
English doesn't borrow from other languages. English follows other languages down dark alleys, knocks them over and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

I have a 600 song playlist of Christmas music on right now. Including such hits as "What Do You Get a Wookie for Christmas (When He Already Owns a Comb)?"
Oh yes, it is indeed a very merry christmas. E for teh win!

My Christmas playlist is under 100 items.  In fact, I'm not even 100% sure it's 50 items.

So yeah, I suck for Christmas.

32 here, but I'm picky.  If I could just find a copy of "Mistletoe Polka" somewhere I'd be a happy girl. I can't find a cd with it ANYWHERE.

Something I've never listened to is Cosmin's "Stanford Rejection Mood Mix" - my friend made me that CD for my birthday the year I got rejected by some name brand schools. I figured I'd save it for at least until I have been rejected from Stanford Medical School, so I have a couple years yet.

I know this will probably sound gay, but I think that 98 degrees has some really good holiday music. They may be passe, but their harmonies on the more serious songs, like Silent Night, O Holy Night, Away in a Manger etc., is really good. I was very excited to discover this a couple of years ago. I recommend it. If you're not sure, you can always download some of it and if you like it, buy it.
