I'm listening to:

John Williams (various soundtracks)
Iona
Enya
Bond
Henry Gregson Williams (Narnia)
Yuki Hajiura (Xenosaga Ep II & III OST)

I love really well orchestrated music, especially if it has the right beat with latin vocals or just a lot of emotion.
If everyone is different, then no one is the same. With no definition of the normal, aren't we all insane?

Bob Dylan's "Love and Theft" album. This album rocks. From 'Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum' to 'Po' Boy' there's just rocking blues and folk around every corner on this thing. This is my 2nd favorite dylan album, "Blood on the Track" being the first.

Do... do you mean the movie? Because... well, I doubt it'd be a big topic around here. You know, being all about drugs, sex, and no rock and roll.

No, I have never seen the movie, and will never do so after what you just said. The song however, is what I meant. My earlier opinion still stands.

I recently grabbed about every song ever recorded by a few artists: Eric Clapton, Queen, Van Morrison, Jimmy Buffett, and the Police. Plus an album by the Puppini Sisters, one by Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris, and The Grateful Dead. My current playlist is all these songs shuffled together. I had forgotten many of the joys of The Police especially. Personally, I much prefer it to Sting's solo work. I always bagged on Andy Summers, but I think he added something to the mix that was very interesting.

The new album by Knopfler and Harris is called "All the Roadrunning," and it's a sort of folk rock album. Very interesting stuff. Knopfler done some interesting stuff since the Dire Straits days.

The Puppini sisters I grabbed mostly out of curiosity. They were performing old timey stuff like "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" and "Bei Mir Bist Du Schon" and "Mr. Sandman." The cover of Blondie's "Heart of Glass" was interesting -- the concept of retro-dating a song, rather than updating it for modern sensibilities is always fascinating -- but not strong enough to stand on it's own. However, their cover of The Smith's "Panic" (on the streets of London, Panic on the streets of Birmingham.... Hang the DJ) was awesome. I'm not prepared to recommend this album to anyone who is vaguely interested.

Been listening to Daniel Powter and Maroon 5 alot lately.  Every once in a while Metallica and Will Smith get thrown in for some variety.

Last night I listened to a soundtrack by Mark Knopfler while writing.  He's awesome.

At work I've been listening to The Who, Steely Dan, Flaming Lips, Eagles, Golden Smog, Imogen Heap and Fleetwood Mac.
