No.  I'm just starting again really, cause I scrapped 99% of my last one.  It had become a kinda cobbled together lot of ideas which made no real sense.  And it was kinda unoriginal.  So I'm starting again with something a bit better.

But I might get involved.

Whatever you decide to do, just keep working at it.  Remember, the first one doesn't have to be perfect--most people never sell the first book anyway.  The first novel is like a pianist's scales--you don't play them in the concert hall, but you have to learn them before you can move onto more majestic pieces.  Writing a first novel will teach you things about plotting, pacing, and characterization that you just can't learn any other way.

Now, in my case, my SIXTH novel was the one that finally sold--and I sold it while I was writing my thirteenth!  But, writing the first one is the biggest step.
