Actualy you kinda have reveiw something from him, he had a short story in the Search for Power: Dragons from the War of Souls anthology that you reviewed.  I think he's Dan Willis who wrote "Lake of Death".

oh, I liked the talking Donkey. Go ahead, invite him over. I said nice things.

edit: I remember, it wasn't a talking donkey. It was just a really smart and manipulative one.

Does sending you bad novels in the first place count as throwing poop at you? Because if it does, the worst is over and you have nothing more to fear.

lol.  We'll, I'll be curious to see how his actual novel is, since it doesn't come out until August.  We'll probably get a copy, but it's third in a series.

well, I've been trying to get my contact over there to update some info. She says she's going to have her assistant do it, but the assistant never calls me back.

WotC has me listed as wanting novels for TLE. Since I'm not longer at TLE that's not good. Plus, I'd really like RPG stuff as well. And I've also establihed a policy that I, personally, will not review any second or third parts unless I've read first parts. I don't think it's fair to the novel. And Wizards isn't responding to that. I'm getting a growing collection of D&D novels that will remain unread

I will point out that D&D books seem like they are designed, especially the newer ones, so that they can be read out-of-order.

If you ever get anything from Weis & Hickmann I'll take them. Heck if you can get me the recent reprinting of the original Dragonlance novels in hardback I'd be a very happy Spriggan.  Their doing the war of twins now http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=products/dlnovel/965460000

The problem, EUOL, is that I've tried reading them out of order, and there are major problems that i'm willing to blame on not being the first book. It's like that the new policy is to write ONE long novel, then break it into three parts.

Hum.  Well, if you've tried it and it doesn't work, then you're probably right.  I withdraw my point.
