Diane Duane finishing cat wizard trilogy
« on: February 24, 2006, 12:45:49 AM »
For those of you who follow Diane Duane's works but don't read her blog, she has decided to publish the 3rd book in her cat wizard trilogy (the first two being "The Book of Night With Moon" and "To Visit the Queen/On her Majesty's Wizardly Service")

The Big Meow is going to be self-published and she will finish it or not based on donations from fans who want to pay for this book to be completed.

Read the rest of her post here.

Verrrrry eeeenteresting...
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

Doesn't that make her a scrounger?
Frankly, I'm shocked. But, even more frankly, I'm always shocked.

Or a genius.

The other two books didn't do well enough for a publisher to buy it from her, and she would like to write it at some point if she can not take a total loss on her time to do so. Makes sense to me.  She is a professional writer, after all, so spending time on a book she won't get paid for seems illogical.
