Chrono Crusade -- I want spoilers!

I just finished the Chrono Crusade manga series, and I feel like I really missed something.  Like what the heck was going on at the end.  Could anyone explain?  Or at least point me to a good fan website?

When I first heard about this manga/anime I was excited because I thought it was a sequel to Chrono Trigger.  But it's not, and I'm quite sad.

You can get it in the manga section of your local Borders/B&N. All 8 books have been put out by ADV.

I actually got the first six from my local library, and my sister bought the last two.  I've tried looking up information on the internet, but sites seem to focus on the anime rather than the manga, and the two are very different. (Stupid stigmata)

It's quite common for manga/anime to never explain the ending or resolve things so there probably isn't a good explanation for you.  It sucks, I know, but it's pretty much required now-a-days to be in that genra.
