I'm famous!
« on: May 09, 2006, 02:58:00 PM »
I was reading all the YA author interviews and almost overlooked the post-it note my boss put in the copy of Locus that's been circulating around the department.

Under "Books Sold" in People and Publishing:

Quote
STEVE BERMAN will edit YA anthology Magic in the Mirrorstone for Stacy Whitman of Mirrorstone Books.

Cool.

That is, as they say, quite cool. I want to see my name in print. Or even better, lights.

All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

That's the way anthologies work. A freelance editor does all the important work--finding authors, content editing, etc. I just oversee the project as far as what Mirrorstone wants in it. I work on approving design, approving first and final drafts, that kind of thing.

Awesome!
If everyone is different, then no one is the same. With no definition of the normal, aren't we all insane?
