No, Alan Rickman is Sneaky Evil, while Jaws is Punch-you-in-the-face Evil. I vote for Jesse Ventura.

I can't picture Jesse Ventura lurking underwater accompanied by Jaws' forboding theme music.

How about James Earl Jones?  Or for that matter, Christopher Walken?

Christopher Walken can't be evil after that Weapon of Choice video.  I actually don't think he can be in anything again, ever.

I could see Jaws with a Brooklyn accent, though.

Jaws would probably have a caribbean accent of some kind, since he came north from warmer waters.

Maybe Jaws should sound like Snidley Whiplash.  Nyah-ha-ha!

If this is a Disney movie there has to be a cute little sidekick, like a guppy that follows Jaws around and eventually turns good. Or, even better, a happy, wise-cracking tank of compressed air.

How about Jaws meeting Popeye and Aquaman in a bar and they all break into a big happy musical number about how true friendship can survive even huge, gaping shark wounds?

What are those funny little fish called that suck onto the bottom of sharks?  Maybe one of those could be Jaws' conscience - like Jiminy Cricket.

Woo-hoo!!  I got my son all of the Treasure Planet action figures for Christmas (he actually wanted them rather than Lord of the Rings toys.  What a bizarre kid).  My only beef is that they didn't come out with a figure for the Captain.  Grrrr.....

Not particularly, I just liked the character and was surprised when they gave that freaky-deaky spider pirate an action figure but not the ship's captain.

Well, I have to admit that I have been avoiding seeing this movie because of all the scars I have received from several other recent Disney releases.  But, after reading your comments I think I will take my wife out and to see it this weekend.

By way of an update:  According to MovieWeb.com, Treasure Planet has made 29.9 million at the end of 4 weeks.  Compare that to Harry Potter: 228.8 million at 6 weeks and The Santa Clause 2: 129.8 million at 8 weeks.
