Catwoman *shudder*

Does anyone else just think this film looks just plain awful?

Ya.  Actualy several articles I've read are calling it the next "Gili", or at lease Berry's "Gili".  And after reading over the basic plot and movie outline I have to agree.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

Gigli, though in this case we'll forgive any misspellings.

I think this will be only for those people who wish to pay $6 to see Halle Berry kick butt in a leather suit.

Have you seen the leather suit? It doesn't look too good.

No it doesn't.  I don't know how they did it, but they managed to greatly decrease Berry's hotness.

Tage and I saw the trailer before Van Helsing tonight.  After it was finished, he leaned over to me and said "One of the worst movie ideas EVER."

That pretty much sums it up.

The original idea was probably "Halle Berry in a tight leather suit," which isn't all that terrible of an idea.  The actual exectution of the idea was pretty bad though.

not that I cared all that much for Pfeiffer's performance. I mean she tried to play Catwoman like De Vito was playing hte Penguin. And that's just.... not right.

Okay, let's try again:

If i exhume a corpse and roll around in the grave is that good enough?
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

as long as you leave it like that. If you were to exhume the corpse and roll around WITH it, well...that's just not right.

I've still not seen a trailer, though the costume doesn't bother me all that much.
On the other hand, some web cartoonists disagree with me, such as Tim Buckley and Aeire.

While i was in the theatre watching Troy my friends and i saw the trailer for Catwoman. Immediatley as it began another man from the crowd said in an obviously overhearable voice, "She should fire her hiring agent." Needless to say, we all cracked up until the movie started. It was funnier if you were there, i'm aware what i quoted wasnt exactly funny, nor remotely funny.
May Christ be with you.
