Bewitched

I saw this movie yesterday. It was rather enjoyable, and everything, I think, was actually rather well done. I will also admit that I actually had a sort of attraction to Nicole Kidman in this movie, even though I usually don't even think of her as anything but un-groovy. She was completely groov-able in this one.

Will Ferrell actually did a rather good job as well. He wasn't always acting like some completly off-the-wall idiot, but at times was rather heart-warming. Micheal Caine, awesome as always.

I must say though, this Nora Ephron is a good director, and I feel she's helping to break the mold and help women get into the business of directing films and movies instead of it being such a man-heavy business.

Nora Ephron did When Harry Met Sally and You've Got Mail, as well. I really like her work, when I know it's her. I didn't actually know it was her on this one, but now that you mention it, I can see it.

I just saw it this afternoon and thought it was pretty cute. I liked that they didn't just do the same characters in a movie, but instead built it around the redoing the show. I didn't really like how they did the typical Hollywood one-date-now-you're-mine romance, yet at the same time it worked for the story.

They did leave a couple things hanging for me at the end--some side characters that I would liked to have seen a little more resolution for, especially for her dad. I guess it was pretty much resolved, but I would have liked a little more at the very end.

Was there anything after the credits? I didn't stay for them, so I could have missed something. I always feel like I should stay just in case, but at the same time feel jipped if I stay and there aren't any extras.
