Free Matrix RPG
« on: May 08, 2003, 12:06:50 PM »
Hm. Here is a link to a website... which links you to a matrix rpg, a buffy rpg, a starcraft rpg (i have... no comment) and a evil dead rpg. They all run off a converted West End Games D6 system (the one used in star wars).
Do what you will with this.

A Starcraft RPG using the WEG d6 rules? Why didn't anyone think of that before?

*glee*

This is like when I found the only WW expansion I would play: the Highlander home made mod.

Except that I don't know if I'll ever get aroudn to trying these out. Oh, and that I'll already play the d6 versions out there. Ok, so it's not much like it at all. But I'll check 'em out.

Interesting.  The D6 engine is pretty flexible, but I had no idea people will still making homebrews with it. I thought it died with "Metabarons" a few years back.  Very interesting indeed.

In two years I've seen a single copy of the Metabarons which has never sold and heard no one ever speak of it. It's dead to me, at least.

Huh.  I retract my dead statement since it seems to be thriving there.

It's dead in St. Louis, though. :)

Actually, i can forsee a problem with a starcraft RPG. Namely, that of keeping in character too well.

GM Ok, zerglings, you wake up. What do you do?

Sacrifice me!

Er... yeah...

I'd love to play that game. I'd say, "This is Jimmy." over and over and over...
