'ello all!
We (me and my friend) have just created a new webcomic for you viewing pleasure.
Presenting: *trumpets* Ledgermain, a comic about a tabletop RPG as told by the Characters. Let me know what you guys think ^_^

Ummm...the comics aren't showing up. I've tried to see them but nothing shows up. Just a big white outline then some little tiny box with some colorful boxes inside it. Is that a problem?

if you're on dial up, it takes a while to up load. All the comics are jpegs. I think I'm going to have to switch to gifs  :'( . Sorry for the inconveience.

you might want to play with pngs then too.

Let me know when the bandwidth requirement is down or remind me when I get back on cable (3-5 months, but no one's counting).

I'm fully capable to use all these on my comp. Problem was that when I first did it, we were on a lab comp that could only handle jpg

I use popupstopper from panic ware to get around that crap. We're trying to get on Keenspot, but they're seriously backed up. If anyone has a better solution, please tell me.

Note: We have no money at all.  >:(

I set the pages the comics are on to compress the images so that should  help with the slow download time. Keep in mind the site has only existed for three weeks and there are bound to be problems. Once again, any technical help is much apreciated.

Personally, I'd recommend Geocities over Angelfire anyday. Last I checked, Geocities only did the little corner window thing, which can be easily closed or ignored, and didn't have any popups.

geocities didn't offer stuff like free java-script and CGI. Actually, I have to option to use 3 seriously annoying animated ads on the frames themselves. Is this more or less objectionable than the pop-ups?

The frames are probaly the real problem as far as dl times and the ads are concerned anyway. The trouble is, if I try to switch to a framless set up, we lose alot of the navagation pluses. I'd like to uese style sheets but have no idea how to work with/find them.

Running a webcomic is a lot more work than most people think, especially when you target audience has a diffrent platform and connection than you. BTW, is anyone having any resolution problems?

LOSE THE FRAMES

Try and work on the look of the site - i despise nothing more than a black webpage.

Also, get rid of the effing popups... ive got popup blocker running but its still annoying.

 ??? what's wrong with a black web page? It seems like an obvious chioce when we're using colored Lettering. I can't exactly kill the pop-ups without :
1) changing sites for the 3rd time
2) switching to the animated banners

I'm working on an alternative to the frames, though I don't see getting that idea off the ground anytime soon.
I'm trying here, Entrophy, just give me time (its been a little over 24 hours since I posted here for the first time)
