Button Men Online
« on: October 03, 2003, 06:25:02 PM »
My BM-Online review has earned me two character flags. On the web site, I am now known as "time-waster" and "lemur-tastic."

mmmm.... lemur-tastic.

That reminds me- I went to the BM site and signed up for the game. I was told that a veteran of the game would e-mail me in order to teach me about the game or something. Well it was three weeks ago and I am yet to see his mail. Did this happen to anyone else too?

That's weird. I never got the email. But if you want, you can tell me your nick, and I'll challenge you to a few games that will get you oriented on how to play pretty quick.

ok, i've completed 150 games as of this moment.
Having won the last two, that measn I have a winning record. Which is good. most people are at or near the .500 mark, so having a 76/74 record is actually impressive, even though it doesn't sound like it.

To celebrate, I'll be reviewing a series of Button Men expansions in the next few weeks.

I'm gonig to start with Fantasy.

yay!
I'm up to 350 games now, and my record is 185/165. THat means I'm still a winner, and becoming a better winner!
(actually, my record has declined lately, at one point I had  29 more wins than losses, so a difference of 20 is kind of a  disappointment)

*pokes his head in*

Greetings Time Wasters!

I'm Skeeve, the lead programmer of buttonmen.com, and if you ever have any questions about the game, or the website, feel free to ask me or send me some email.

I've been a time-waster for about a year now, and I lurk a lot. I usually don't like to post in forums, but since there has been a few people from this site going to play buttonmen, I just thought that I'd sound off.

-Skeeve

hey, welcome Skeeve. I keep meaning to submit the "myself as a button men" but recently an even more interesting idea has emerged, that of TWG as button men. Of course, the bm commuity as a whole doesn't know or care about us, but I still like it.
