I went to Game Parlor yesterday and puchased a load of stuff.

$109 Dollars worth of Stuff to be precise.

    The most expensive addition to my collection (recently culled by the way) is NOBILIS which weighs in at $47 Nobilis is a beautiful book in a 300 page 11x11 format that after an initial peruasal seems to be innovative, fun and very VERY VERY well edited and put together.  Its worth owning from a bibliophile point of view in addition to a rabid gamer point of view.
    I also bought The Game of Powers for $17.00 (the live action book for NOBILIS) just to be holistic


    The other big Systems purchase was Little Fears (a nice round $20 which a skim tells me I will like for the new take on Horror.

Also as if by Kismit I noticed game parlor had a  single copy of Microtactics Cityscapes in CD form(discussed on another thread at this board.) which was 25 dollars.  

Which is a nice haul after tax.

I have a feeling that NOBILIS will keep me occupied for a while.

I just spend £163 on models. Got enough Tau to make up a very solid 1000pt army, and a couple spraypaints. I'm going to see if i can get them painted to a decent enough level to allow me to play next tuesday... GW only allows models that are painted to be used in their stores. That means i need to finish at least the main ivory colour. On 43 28mm troopers, 1 APC tank and 6 double man size walkers.
Eh. Maybe the tuesday after.

I'm in conservative mode with my student loans running out and summer work not starting yet, but I am planning on one last big splurge.

Either I'm going to pick up Evernight, the first Savage Worlds campaign set at the end of the month, or Diplomacy.

Help me decide...

The Pendragon core rule book, and the list of knights (presumably with game stats). Also, the encyclopdia published by the same company.

I've seen a lot of it there at the Game Parlor, but I'm looking at doing a lot more of the classical Arthurian reading first.

Some of it is classical arthurian reading and the guys at Green Knight are some of the first to translate it into english.
