STUDIOBLINKTWICE, new stuff (hopefully!) weekly!
« on: June 20, 2006, 07:13:55 AM »
Hey TW Folks!

I hope it's okay to post this stuff in here, it's really just comic art, but I thought I'd better put it in the rants section 'cos there will be some mentions of our studio site!

We're a UK/France based comics studio numbering 3, with me on art, my brother Bob on words, and our genius Webmaster General Mark on all things web-and-games based.

I thought you may like to see some of our comic art, hopefully this is of interest to someone!

New art will be going up every 2-3 days...forever! Or thereabouts, hoho!

Here's a web-only flyer I produced for One Night in the City, our on-line web-love-story. Hope you guys dig it!

Our big, BIG release will be MOON!, a sci-fi-comedy-action-adventure-romance-space-opera-epic the likes of which has never been seen before!

Hmm...maybe that's a good thing!

Anyways, here's a style test I did a while back...

More tomorrow, folks!

Lorenzo!

Looks cool.

Although, a link to the site would nice: http://www.studioblinktwice.com

Wow.  Nice art.  I really like your style.  Not enough to order anything, of course.  I have no feel for the quality of the story.  However, if I could read an entire sample story, perhaps one issue of either the bunny man or the one night in the city (online would be fine as long as the text in the images was big enough to read easily) and it was good; I might be tempted to lay down some cash.

edit: Of course, perhaps I missed something of the sort as I quickly perused your site.  Yeah?  Nay?

Hey 42! Thanks, man! I've taken your advice and added a sig link to the posts! Thanks for posting!

Satanehlers! That's great, bud! Hope it's worth the return visit! New stuff added every few days, man!

Hey, Skar! There's 4-page previews of the first 9 (soon to be 10) issue of Malcolm Magic on the site, as well as pages from Tusk. However, those comics are only available in the UK, so you may not be able to get 'em anyway?! MOON! will be the big one, and there'll be PLENTY of sneak peaks from that in this thread over the coming months, so I say just keep checking back in to get a feel for the story! Thanks soooo much for you interst, pal! Oh, and ONITC is a free monthly webstory, you can view it through the link on our site.

Okay, let's start today's posts with another style experiment for MOON!

Don't get the chance to do much stuff like this, as I'm always drawing that rabbit or strange aliens! Hoho! Hope some of you like it!

Okay, so here's another web flyer for One Night in the City. I think this goes a good way to summing up the style, feel and mood I'm trying to get across with the story. Hope you dig, folks!

Finally for today, here, at a nice size for once, is the cover art for issue 9 of Malcolm Magic, before I cropped it all down and laid on the logo and stuff. Yikes! Ain't nothin' as exhilarating as a little Dragon sledging!!

More soon folks!

Lorenzo!

I like your art style, and I'm especially intrigued by One Night in the City. I'll have to check it out someday.
