Just discovered that the parents of a girl in my RP group spent a significant amount of time roleplaying with Tracy Hickman, back before he had been published (and before he had joined TSR).  Evidently, some of their characters feature in a few of his books.  From what they tell me, Hickman was a very, very poor man then: Apparently his mother called him at one point and offered to let him come home, live in the basement and get a job at McDonalds...

I'm happy because I just discovered two pieces of chocolate that I meant to eat yesterday but forgot about.  Yay chocolate!

That's almost as good as when you find money from last year in your winter coat pocket!

I'm happy because I went to a convention for my new job and it was awesome.

I'm happy for a warm house and a husband who goes out early to start the car in the morning so it will be warm by the time I get in.

Yeah that's hilarious! And its also not funny at all. I mean it wasn't warm enough to melt most of the ice and it dropped to the single digits this morning making the ice all that much harder. Other great news is that its going to rain tomorrow at around 44 degrees but then drop back down to like 15 for two days. Yay for the holidays.

I second that notion. Merry Christmas. I was rewarded with warm weather instead of cold so most of our remaining ice and snow is now melted away. . . Yay!!!
