I've got a job interview at HarperCollins in NY! :D
Lord Ruler and Lady Protractor were off on vacation, thus the angles running amok.

Thanks! I'm looking forward to it.

Sure wish I had enough money to buy a new skirt suit or even a new blazer, though. Oh, wait!! My paycheck will probably come early since the 30th is a Sat. Woohoo! Sweet. Guess I can get a good outfit for the interview.  :D

I am happy because I decided to book a flight to Ireland for two weeks to see a girl I have only known for about four days. Yay. I guess if things don't work out I could stay with some family or something. We'll see

I know miyabi that kinda my own response to myself. But hey what are you gonna do, might as well do the crazy things while I'm young than regret having never done them when I'm old.

I do some pretty crazy things too.

EDIT:  Like I move BACK to Connecticut to be with someone I met while I lived there the first time.  But I am back in Idaho now. xD

You know the funny thing is that I'm not. Ever since I had a kid with my best friend and then we didn't get together the last thing I have wanted is a relationship. Then I met this girl and I swear I fell in love. I feel like a tool. I feel like I'm in middle school and this is the first girl i ever liked. The only problem is there is an ocean in between us and no realistic way of doing anything about it. I guess Ill go for the two weeks and see what happens.

I am happy because my piano was delivered yesterday!  It's a Kawai 52" upright, made in 1990 (but looks and sounds new), with lovely touch and tone quality.  I practiced for over an hour last night, and even played a song this morning before leaving for work.  I think we'll name it Felix (after Mendelssohn, whose 200th birthday is coming up).  I'm so happy!

Thanks!  I've never owned a piano before, and haven't had regular access to one since I lived with my parents.  It's nice to be at it again!  We're going to throw a piano party in a couple weeks (to welcome it to the household), and serve black and white food and of course have lots of singing and chamber music and solos by all the guests.
