Whoohoo! Congrats!

Congrats!!!

We love our little one, though it's hard to imagine two right now.

And along those lines, announcing the birth of my son, Alex, who was born last Friday, February 29.
He was 6 lb 15 oz and 19 inches long.

Wait, February 29th! That means you only have to do a birthday party once every four years. Congrats!

oh, so sweet. Congratulations! May your baby sleep through the night at 6 weeks!

I have a happy things of my own.... kinda.

I totally justified buying way to many new clothes today, because I'm going to England in less than a month. Which I think I mentioned before, and is not my happy thing, my happy thing is the new clothes and that I dropped a pant size! Woo Hoo! Hooray for me! I've worked in two library jobs.  I immensely enjoyed working in the Washoe County LS, but didn't much care for my job over at Provo.

I'm happy because I got a B+ on a Beowulf sight-translation midterm I was almost certain I would fail!

So I had surgery and they found all sorts of things but they were able to clean it all up, which is why this is a happy thing.  I hopefully won't be hurting all the time now.  Well, at least, I won't be as soon as I recover from the surgery.
If I had any clue, would I be here?

Hooray! Don't go moping around (or holding any parties) if I'm not around for the next two weeks, I'm off on a grand trip, planned for at least a year! It consists of traveling to far away lands, spending way to much money and having my husband at home with the kids ALONE- while I enjoy my first real vacation since I've had children. WOO HOO! and ta-ta!

I got honorable mention in Writers of the Future 2nd Quarter. It's better than I had expected.
