I just got a Magic card for Employee Appreciation Week. It's a silvery foil one, called a Fruitcake Elemental. Heh.

Quote
Fruitcake Elemental is indestructible.

At the end of your turn, Fruitcake Elemental deals 7 damage to you.

3: Target player gains control of Fruitcake Elemental.

Experiments intended to create the perfect holiday emissary resulted in a substance harder than darksteel and a fraction as merry.
That's awesome.

I'm happy because I'm watching Pirates of the Caribbean 2 on DVD and you're not (because it doesn't come out until tomorrow).

I'm happy because I was able to use Paint to dress up my Chimera for the holidays.

The picture is so small, you can barely see. But if you look closely, you'll see my Santa Hat and Festive Wreath around my neck.  ;D

I hadn't seen the wreath but I *did* notice that had. Merry Chimeras indeed!

I'm happy I ran into E3 and Linda Adams today. I'm also glad that Linda invited me to her retirement party. I hope I can make it.

Well, E3 is elusive.

So, I'm happy today because I learned I get the week between X-Mas and New Years as paid vacation. I actually get all university holidays and breaks as paid vacation in addition to the 10 sick days and 10 personal days I get as paid vacation. Course, this is probably because they intend to work me like a dog the rest of the time.

He avoids me so much I don't know who he is.  ;)

Tanstaafl, baby.

I'm happy because someone else knows what Tanstaafl means. Though, given the forum, I shouldn't be surprised.

I am extremely happy because I just had a fantastic night. Went out with some friends and was completely over-taken by this woman. Which just blew me away. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to work with her anymore.

I'm happy because I  had about 18 inches of hair cut off yesterday. Now my hair is right at shoulder length. It's healthy, it's pretty, and there's not as much of it for Brenna to yank out of my skull all at once. Yay!

Which means it's right about where it was when we were in college, which is kind of how I'll always remember you, Brenna. :)
