Super!! Yay for Ookla.

For my own part, I will interview for two editorial assistant positions here at Pearson. Plus, I got a raise yesterday. Sweet!

Everyone should keep someone around who makes them laugh.

I have my ferret--who got to go to the vet today for her yearly shots. Nefer doesn't like the vet very much, so this would perhaps be better suited for the grumpy things thread from her point of view. From my point of view, the general "Three Stooges" antics that ensued during the brief veterinary visit have been keeping me laughing all day.

It is so nice to get bonuses. I'm paying off bills left and right! I'm getting new shoes! Yay!

The cats might even get a treat out of this.

Now that Symantec has bought out my company I actually get benefits as a part-timer!  Yea for large, multi-national cooperations!  I'm going to go knock out some teeth just so I can use my dental insurance.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

Yesterday, the Wyoming Supreme Court gave me a call at work to congratulate me on passing the Wyoming Bar Exam. I got the rest of the day off, got a babysitter and went out with my wife to celebrate. Now, I've passed three bar exams and will be licensed to practice law in four states. Yea!  ;D

Way ta go, Lost One! That's quite the feat and in no way suggests that you are "lost" though you name persists in calling you so. ;)

Kudos!

There is nothing better then walking the beach at night, with palm trees blowing gently in the wind, warm ocean waves lapping at your ankles, and a full moon shining down. With my gauzy skirt, bare feet, and long hair, the happy honeymoon couples probably thought I was an escaped wild child, wading out into the water up to my knees at times, dancing across the rocks, and making friends with the stray cats. They probably were right--and wise to keep their distance.

The ocean puts me at peace. I feel so happy when I'm by it, like I'm coming home. I wish I could always be by the ocean.
