So very adorable! (I actually thought to check your blog not long after I asked about pics. I know, I am such a genius.  ::))

I am very happy to be home for Christmas (rather than in someone else's home). And that the major redecorating is done, so my mom will stop being so tense.

Now, if only my room wasn't covered with my parent's stuff. Hopefully it won't take long to organize their room, so I can get mine back.

I'm happy that my entire family (all 26 of us at the moment) were able to make it to my parents house for Christmas.

I'm happy that I could use the excuse of my second job to get away from my in-laws last night.

I love that one of my best friends is going to be having a baby, and if it is a girl she will get my name for her middle name :) Can't have my head getting too big by naming her after me, but the middle name is a nice gesture. ;) Also, they have just moved to my area so we can actually visit more than once or twice every six months.

I'm happy to have Fish here in SoCal with me. We are having lots of fun adventures. So much fun, in fact, that I think I'll refuse to let her go back to Utah. I'll get lost on the way to the airport or hijack her plane or something...and then she'll stay forever!  ;D

I'm happy that it always seems that there are some good things to balance out the bad.
Sure I found out my sponser is claiming that they can deduct training days from my paychecks (which I'm fairly certain they can't).

But, I got a bunch a new software to play with at work today and I might have just found a new roommate to ease mine and Spriggan's pocketbooks.

I finally got another shower installed in our house. Sure, it required ordering a special spout to add the shower to the bathtub only to find out that the pipe from the wall was too short, that then required me to find a creative way of lengthening the pipe and, after a few experiments with Copperbond epoxy, there is finally another shower so that when people like 42 come to stay, they don't have to use the shower off the master bedroom or take a bath.  I am also happy because now I have a bunch of tools that I'll probably never need for another project again but will inflate my status as a handyman because I've actually used them.

In addition, when shopping for said ego boosting tools, we found laminate flooring that was 70% off and they threw in a couple of extra boxes for free.  Now I get to re-floor the living and dining rooms in a couple of months, furthing the illusion that I know how to do home improvements.

I got a new graphics card with a pixel shader so I can play Lego Star Wars here at work. This brings me joy.

I'm going to be writing again.  I get to blame this (at leats in part) on EUOL.

Early tomorrow morning (Saturday) my husband and I will be boarding a flight to LA, from whence we shall board a Princess cruiseship and sail the beautiful Pacific, down the coast and into sunny Mexico. I am so excited to leave, for a week, the bitter cold confines of Utah's inclement weather. And also not have to cook for and clean up after the demon spawn for an entire week. I like that part, too.
