D&D bashing D&D
« on: December 17, 2005, 10:45:37 AM »
So I've posted links to D&D's development articles before, but I thought this was interesting. It's the people who write D&D rule books saying what's wrong with D&D. Or at least the things that bug them.

I like the house rules down there. The spell issues seem pretty nitpicky and don't deal with the larger rules problems most people complain about.

Interesting, and I also liked the previous article about the designers' favorite things. I agree that the Shifter feat system is very cool, I just wish there were more of them.

The shifter feat system is indeed cool and I think it was heavily, heavily inspired by MMORPGs.
