Which brand do you like? Do you have a particular style or flair, Polyhedral or regular cubes? Do you bother with a dicebag? Whats the most unusual set you own? The most expensive?

These are all pressing questions we want to know the answer to.

For instance the most expensive dice I ever bought were Crystal Castes 25 dollar brushed steel dwarfen metals dice.

I like polyhedral dice, but rarely keep sets together so I just bought one of those pound of dice bags.

My most expensive set is the Yellow Jade set I got. Made out of yellow jade. $30
The same company also made my second most expensive set, made out of obsidian. $25

I used to not keep polyhedral sets together, but with those two purchases I started doing so. I have some other complete sets, some in some really cool colors, others... not so cool.

I like tiny dice. Tiny polyhedrals are best, but Koplow makes these 3mm d6s, about the same size as Pirates dice, but in different colors,  that I have a fist full of. They all fit in this nice tube though, so they don't get lost like ones I used to own.

On dicebags, I dont like 'em. At least the ones I see in game stores. Ones made out of leather or cloth with drawstrings never hold up... either the leather strings stretch or break or some other mishap happens. I use an old pouch that I got with a set of Bugle Boy jeans in 1990 it has a drawstring, but with nylon parachute cord and one of those little plastic cinch things that tightens it up all the way closed. Plus there are zip pockets and more,

I have two dice bags (one used for misc dice, one used for sets). The one is black crushed velvet, but some bleach got spilled on it, and the look is kind of cool. That one has lasted close to decade. The other is a softer fuzzy material, but it's already gone more than a year or so.
I have a third that was actually a coffee mug pouch. It holds my button men. It's been going for about 2 years now too.

The sets, however, are in smaller sub-containers within the dicebag. The 2 expensive sets are in an empty Altoids Sours tin. I have a couple of the plastic tubes they're sold in, as well as a hard plastic box that one set came in ('nuff air in their to hold two complete sets though, so I've got two similarly colored sets in it).

My dice bag is a drawstring deal, hand-decorated by my sister and given to me as a Christmas present when I was a wee lad (I think I was 12, she was 7). I don't have any really amazing sets of dice, but I do have a clear pair of d10s (one red, one blue) that I use for percentiles rolls--virtually to the exclusion of all else.

I have four dice bags (hah!):
One for RP dice (lots of polyhedrons)
One for wargame dice (lots of d6 + scatter dice, etc.)
One for CCGs (lots of counters, and a couple of dice)
And another small pouch for my jade die set.

The RP dice bag is very large, nice leather, with thick leather strings that should hold up for an eternity.  It is filled with p0lyhedrons of various designs—some transparent, some translucent, some shiny, some patterned, etc.  I love the "gem bag" feel to it.  I also have a 100-sided die in this.

The wargame bag is small and leather, and barely fits all the little d6s & a few other GW dice.  Altogether, it's a lot of dice for making mass d6 rolls.  (Most are white, a few are red).

The CCG bag is a green suede, with string that doesn't stay tied well.  It has all my gem-like tokens for use in CCGs that require tokens; I have a few different colours.  It has a couple other markers, and some dice to help, too (including 2 d20's).

The last pouch is small and leather, and countains my set of dice which are all jade.  This is the only "set" that I keep separate.

I have a large dice bag filled with an assortment of dice of all shapes and sizes i can find. Some clear, patterned, etc.

My friend has a D20 that's roughly the size of a baseball (made of normal dice material) that we call "the die of power". And my brother has a (foam) D20 that's roughly the size of a cantaloupe.

The most expensive set I own would have to be a set of semi-precious stone dice (i forget what stone specifically, I got em almost 10 years ago). Other than that, my friend has a brass-plated  set of D6's.

My only requirement for dice is that the number rolled can be read quickly and clearly. Not a big fan of dice with patterns, symbols, or odd numbering that makes it take longer than a tenth of a second for my brain to decode what number was rolled.
