An even stupider idea...
« on: May 12, 2003, 11:18:10 PM »
I've got the perfect thing for some of the less talented people around TWG to review.

[shadow=blue,left,300]Websites[/shadow]

Hows 'bout that? For the uninitiated it may work well for those who want to jump into the article writing cliche but don't want to be known for their really crappy review of something tangible. Eh, eh?

I've been thinking about doing a weekly/bi-weekly "cool websites to waste time at" but haven't had the time to do so.  Do one on Homestarrunner.com if you want to start out.

Isn't that what "Tower of Cheapness" was about?

Yes, that's what the Tower of Cheapness is for. Anyone is welcome to wrote a review of anything and submit it, and we'll decide if we want to post it or not. And by we, I mostly mean I.

Your a souless autocrat fellfrosch. We should have commitees set up - seperately - for each review, who would then consider it and taken a minimun of 30 days to decide anything.

That is, according to the labour party, the true meaning of democracy.
;)
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

What is this, I can't believe my eyes. The allmighty Fellfrosch has made a mistake. Or do you mean that we should go back in time and write the review and then post it.

I always find it prudent to spellcheck posts that poke fun at other's typos before posting them, Gargamel.

Ah, irony...

Gemm I noticed your review.  I'm working on some guidelines about format and what to include.  I should have mentioned that before to you   :-/.  Any way once I get them fleshed out with Fell I might need you to add somemore.

Oh ok then. That seems fair enough. I know I did forget some stuff, but I think some things the people should find themselves. I'm not sure what it is your going to do but ok then.

No its going to be more a layout issue I think.  Its fine that you left some hints for people to find stuff.  I'm thinking on haveing it look a little like the webcomics reviews including 5 reasons why you'd like this site and 5 why you wouldn't.  Also I'd like to have how frequently it's updated and what type of connection is perfered.  So there may be some small things.  I'll format it but if there's anything that needs to be typed then I'll let you add that if you want.

I can do the 5 why and why not. I think a 56k connection is good enough for Homestarrunner. That's what I use. Or maybe if I read your post right then you mean that you'll do the 5 for and not.
