Stratego: Legends
« on: April 30, 2004, 09:43:04 AM »
So my husband brought home a copy of this last night, the hazzard of it's being 75% off and his working at a game store.

I'd never played Stratego before, so apparently this is the game crossed with Magic in an unecessarily confusing manner?

I think that's how it is.  I've never played this version, but the classic Stratego is pretty fun.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

We should have a review of it up somewhere. Maybe it didn't get transferred when we did the big redesign a few years ago. In general, though, I thinki they game is cool but poorly implemented--they know how to design great board games, but they should ahve hired someone with more experience designing customizable games.
