Well, um...hmmm. Not sure what to think about this. No hobbit-clix. I wonder if the one ring will be it's own figure.

the movie got released last october not this one....

ah, but the DVD was just released and the special edition DVD will come out THIS November. Don't think there won't be a media drive over that.

Plus the market was over-saturated with LOTR stuff after TT.

I think it just took them this long to get hold of the license. Games Workshop has tabletop rights for LotR, which were spun down into a clix-ish game made by Sabretooth (a GW subsidiary). It probably took WizKids a long time to convince them that their game was different enough.
