Who's up for this?

$30 is a lot for 3 boosters, but I haven't played in a tourney in a long time, and Ultimates looks like a really cool set.

I don't realy have the cash to go and I'll be in Nauvoo in that day.

If you stay home instead of taking an expensive trip to Nauvoo, that would solve both problems.

Ya I dono Fell, I could play the same Turny at Games people play for less, they only charge the exact price of three boosters for their draft games.  Plus I wouldn't have to drive to West Valley.

Wow I just did a search of venues in my area, who knew there were 2 other orem places after Games People play.

One is Shinebox comics which is behind Sizzler (by the mall), and the other is Pastimes wich is about 300 N State in Orem.  Anyone ever been to one of these places?

Also Fell there are several venues in Ogden if you wanted a place that was cheeper and closer I'd do a venu search on Wizkids site.

There's tons of venues all over Utah, including Logan, but to my knowledge that's the only one doing a prerelease.

Eh, after being to a magic prerelease I don't think they're all they're cracked up to be.  But at least with the magic ones you get speical cards.  Also considering the set is comming out only 4-5 days after the prerelease dosen't make me want to do it even more.

So here's my next team, this one is actualy a mix.

U Batgirl
E Spidy (from the universe starter)
E Robin
E Wolverine (from the universe starter)
R Aquaman
R Firestorm
R Cyclopse
R Checkmate medic

Still no perplexers, sadly but I need to get a fig that actualy has it (besides that crappy riddler).  I would like to switch out either Firestorm or Cyclopse for an outwitter (batgirl has it at the end of her dial) but I don't have any low cost outwitters (think 82, Flash) is the cheepest I've got.  Spidy's on the team because Spidy+batman team ability=cool.

This is going to be the official Sprig clix article thread. I just don't see a reason to make a new thread for the same type of convo.

Well I went to Games People Play tonight for a tourny and I was late!  I thought it was at 7pm but it started at 6pm.  The judge took pitty on me and gave me a handful of his own figs as a "Accendtly showing up late" award.  He was cool.  I did get to play a bit and won (the kid had 2 E greenlantrens (jon Stewarts), 2 swamp things and 2 medics.  I had 1 V greenlantrens (stewart), V green arrow, Mordu, Nu'Bia, medic, lexcorp security.

Anyway I tried to get a Kilowag for you Fell, only one person there had one and he wouldn't trade, not even for my KC superman!

You actually offered your KC Superman?

Speakingof which I'm very sad that my KC Shazam hasn't shown up yet. I was hoping for a showdown.

I just need one heroclix figure, http://www.wizkidsgames.com/images/figures/Rotating/HMGA/HMGA_G001.jpg

Just putting him on the table will scare the living tar out of EVERYONE.
Of course it'd be fun to get a silver surfer too.... :)
