I picked up a Brick of CD today along with a handful of Sinister and Armor Wars.  I've always been a huge Marvel fan, but have recently been drawn into DC via Infinite Crisis.

Oh, I also picked up the Danger Room...very cool.

The good:  The brick of CD gave me complete REV sets of most about half the figs.  I got some really cool figs today! Overall, I'm very happy with the haul.

The bad:  Not as many uniques as I would have liked.  And I still don't have a Superman of any form from either this set nor from Icons.  That stinks!  I would have also liked to get more Green Lanterns, but I ended up with 3 copies of the rookie.  Also, I'd have loved to get a whole bunch of OMACs.  Didn't even get one.  Sigh.

Who knows if I'll actually ever play...these are just so much fun to collect.

Not a single superman in a whole brick? Bizarre.

Well I didn't get superman in my Brick either.  The problem with their new distribution of uniques (ie where they're much easier to get, trust me Mr. P in the old bricks you would have gotten 1, maybe 2 uniques max) has made some of the REVs hard to get.  Superman, Iron Man, E and V Kyle are all harder to find the the uniques from Armor Wars and CD.

If I could have just pulled an Iron Man and a Warmachine from any Armor Wars booster I would have stopped there.  It took about 9 boosters over the last few months and I finally pulled a rookie one of each the other day.

I still can't believe I didn't get any OMACs.  I really wanted at least a few...

I don't have any OMACs, or I'd send you some. And I'm still on the hunt for my Veteran Kyle.

I've got one OMAC, had an LE but traded it, and one super and an REV of Kyle.

I've got E Iron man and warmachine too, but I had to trade for them.  I'll keep my eyes out for some of those figures, see if I can't trade for them.

Thanks.

I know there's a HC community here, but I don't know what the age range is.  I really don't want to be playing with a bunch of pre-teens.

I do have some trade material though since I have double of the following uniques:

Icons Flash
AW Black King
CD Jonah Hex

err... I think there was another extra too.  I'll have to check again.

Icons Flash is a popular figure out here, and I have the only one at my venu, so I could possible use that as trade fodder and get several REVs for it.  I know one guy who would probably give me 4-6 regular figures for him, its just a question of if he has those you want.  He's been trying to get that figure from me for months.

I also know someone was looking for Black King, but I'm not sure if he ever got one or not.

I'll work up a 'wants' list here soon to see if we can work something out.

Here's a partial list:

REV OMAC
Kyle Raynor (CD)
REV Superman (Icons)
E/V Iron Man (AW)
E/V Warmachine (AW)
Ultimate Iron Man
Ultimate Thor
