I want to buy the model, put it on top of a monolith, and dance around it in unspeakable eldritch rituals. I suppose some cheerleaders can come if they want.

Horrorclix licenses Aliens vs. Predator: http://www.wizkidsgames.com/wk_article.asp?cid=40856&frame=company

Yeah, it's a stupid movie, but a nice way to get two of the best sci-fi properties available in one shot. I'm excited. I can't imagine people buying entire bricks of this, though.

They have a demo of this at Dragon's keep and based off the demo alone I wouldn't buy the game.  Not because of rules or anything but because these demo's only have 2 figures in it so you only play one against the other and they aren't balanced so it's not very fun.  Basically it's a werewolf and a vampire, the werewolf only needs to kill one bystander to become awesome while the vampire needs several.  So its more or less over in like 3 turns.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

I've heard of Horrorclixand I think they look really cool. I've only started playing Heroclix a couple of weeks ago, and I love it. I got a DC: Hypertime starter set, 1 Fantastic Forces Booster, One Mutant Mayhem Booster, and 2 Marvel Universe 2 Packs. I'm not sure when the Horrorclix comes out, but I'm thinking of buying a set.

I played Horroclix at a shop in a town close to me,  and I f ell in love with it. The Evil Clown and Werewolf versus the Brine Witch and Vampire, and I won with the Vampire left. First ever game of anything with the word Clix in it.

I can't wait to buy it, and especialy get the AvP set. Film sucked though, and I intend to correct this. Alien versus Predator. Who wins? We do. Whats the tagline? Whoever wins, we lose. Er....riiiiiiiiight.

By the way, first post  :P

Ah, clix clix clix.  It's good to see some interest in the games, and a team article up today.  I sold my figs because of my low tolerance for collectibility/obsoleteness but still think the games are a blast.  I'd be interested in seeing firsthand what kind of twist horroclix takes on the clix idea.

Although, I've had a think, and thought that the game might be cool if you could play as the 'victims'. Imagine re-enacting Friday 13th with a Zombie Cop...

Hmm. I still think its a good idea  ;D

(I'll pop along and introduce myself in a minute/hour/day/week. Its kinda busy around here now.)
