Mayhaps the game would best be left to a Saturday, then. That way, the MST timezone people could have a nice morning game, the EST timezone people could get a game in after lunch, and our British friends could play after tea. But then, isn't just about *any* time "after tea" for you strange folks?

Saturday morning could be tricky for me, since Audrey will be awake and running hither and thither. what time are we talking about, specifically?

Well I'm not too sure about this saturday, seeing as how I'll need lots of sleep before the 12 hour LAN party me and some friends are going to.

Blizzard accidentally posted some v1.10 patch notes to Arreat Summit for a couple of hours before they noticed and brought them back down. In that time, however, a lot of people copied the info. Apparently a lot of it is false, but still--it's fun to look around.

Well done. We are all terribly impressed.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

Just count to 10, Entropy. Deep breaths.

The great thing is that, if I actually play 3 acts next time, I'll have finally beaten it. Yay!

Incidentally, I finally beat this game. Like the first installment I was deeply disappointed by the ending. So predictable. But I guess it leaves open an option for D3: The revenge of goober clicking!

I agree that the ending is lame, but it doesn't take long to realize that the story is completely beside the point--I never pay attention to the ending because I'm always just playing through the middle, over and over and over.

I've found Oni and Medal of Honor to be much more replayable. But then, I finished those my first time through and didn't have to drop it and pick back up 10 times to beat them.

D2 is hoplessly boring if you don't play on-line, and don't play hardcore.  (My humble opinion, of course.)  It's the only game I've ever played where death is a serious issue.  That, at least, was what kept me playing.  I've never had a character over lvl 73--I always get killed.

I've never had a character higher than level 15 :)

But then i have never got past act 3, quest 2 or so.

My highest character was level 46, mainly because I get bored and start a new character.
