Myself, I get bored after about 3 acts. It doesn't have to be the THIRD act, just 3 of them. Usually I use an Amazon (I like range attacks and don't like to muck about with spells, as I find I don't pay enough attention to my manna, and I might as well just die as run out when I'm a spell caster). This last time I used a Barbarian through 2 acts, then realized that I really hated hand to hand combat. So I restarted with an amazon. I finished act 1 and guess what? Bored again!

So I reawakened my Never Winter Nights addiction. It's not AS fun as the first time, as I know the story, but I still think the play beats the play in Diablo II. More choices (not QUITE as customizable when leveling, but with all the items...). Anyway, the drive hasn't been formatted since I got  there, so maybe I'll get a hankerin to play again eventually. The great thing is that, if I actually play 3 acts next time, I'll have finally beaten it. Yay!

You're playing the single player campaign of NWN again? I don't think I could handle that, especially considering that there are hundreds of very good fan campaigns out there. That's my favorite part about NWN--I have a limitless supply of new adventures I can download.

There's a lot of good player campaigns out there? Where I haven't even thought to look. I haven't played with it for many months because I had lost the install discs. Give me information! NOW!

There's a few different sites, but most of them just mirror each other. This is the best one: http://nwn.bioware.com/downloads/modules.html

At current count they have 14 Bioware modules and 2249 fan modules. I haven't played any of the Bioware ones, actually, but a lot of the fan stuff can be really good. I bet you feel pretty justified in your purchase of NWN, now that you know it includes over 2000 games instead of just one :). I know I did.

justified?! I'm all a-giggle! I feel like Sir Carl with a new, damaged, beat-to-crud guitar with no strings that I'm deluded into believing was once owned by King David!

I just need to download them all before I disconnect the computer tomorrow and move back to dial up!

My melee necromancer passed a benchmark today, gaining his 30th level and reaching the end of the River of Flame. So far he hasn't had too many problems killing things...it hasn't even proven terribly profitable to curse stuff yet. (OK, yeah, he's decked out in really good gear. I'd be stupid to do a melee necromancer otherwise, though, right?)

If anyone else is ready to pass Diablo in hc normal mode, I'd be glad to have a partner. I don't think I'll have too many problems surviving the big guy, but taking him down is gonna take forever if it's just me and my iron golem.

My roommates are still constantly playing D2X, but I never know where they are level-wise. The best way to check for TWGers on b.net is to go to the kwark channel, or check for a kwark/kwark game. That's usually where they play.

Would that also apply to any Blizzard game Tage?

Generally, yeah, although I don't know if anyone is playing WC3 or SC at the moment.

*sigh* I miss Starcraft.

Really?! Well me and some a few friends have been playing starcraft. Contact me sometime and we'll see what happens, or something.

I'm not even sure if I know how to play it anymore. I mean, it's been literally years. Still, couldn't hurt to give it a shot sometime. What are all you kids doing tonight?

A Starcraft party? I think I could get in on that.

Well I'm all on the eastern sideboard. So time may be crazy-go-nuts for me here. And I'm sure...6 PM your time would be outlandish for you folks.

Heh. Try being 7 hours ahead Mr P.
Game starts at 9pm there. It counts as 4am here. :'(
