6, released in the US as 3. Why? because it's the best out of all two I've played.

1-6... mmmmm, nope. 7... everyone said they liked it, buuuut I didn't. 8, nope. 9... sa'right. 10, no. X-2, never. 11, no way. Tactics... it was different.

I guess the one I didn't hate the most would be Tactics. Crystal Cronicles is amusing for a time.

I've gotta go with Seven for game play, Ten for characters and story.  I really liked the mini-games and the character-creation in seven.

Character creation? Isn't that a redundancy in FF's?

Heh.  That's one of the ONLY things that they change every time.  There's always a nifty new way of developing skills and powers and getting characters new abilities.  In seven, you had to combine jewel things inside of your weapons and armor.

I've never actually finished an FF game since #1, but I'd probably do the same list as Tage, in the same order. I really loved 6, though, so I might have to put it first for pure nostalgia.

Seven for gameplay, ten for characters and design and ten-two for graphics... I didn't even know the PSII had those capabilities!

Meh, from what I've played of 9, it's not that impressive. Maybe I just didn't spend enough time playing it...I loved 7 though, and 10 was great. Many people think FF X-2 is just a sell out game conforming to the media (which it partly is), and it has kind of a lame storyline until the end, but its ok. The graphics are incredible, just a little notch up from 10's. Hmmm,  let's see...FF2 (4 japan) was excellent, and that's all I really have to say. 8 was horrible though...
