Your lady link seems to be busted. I love the stay-puft guy, though.

I'm seriously considering makeing a comic all from ScreenShots.  It'll be hard to get some angles and pics of the badguys doing things when the hero isn't around, but I have a few ideas on how to do it.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

Heads up heroes! Those wacky devs at Cryptic have cooked up some Halloween fun for us: Trick or Treating!
I'm not sure if it's all weekend or just Sunday, but I'm sure you'll notice it!
From what I hear you can open building doors to Trick or Treat. You may get a treat (inspiration), a trick (some new [link=http://webhost.bridgew.edu/a1hatch/cohevent/pumpkinhead.jpg]special monsters[/link]) or a rock (temp power you can throw).
There are also new badges for dropping the Halloween meanies. [link=http://webhost.bridgew.edu/a1hatch/cohevent/pumpkinhead.jpg]List here[/link]

Looks like I picked the wrong day to give up amphetamines.

Well it was bound to happen, Marvel is sueing Cryptis and NCSoft over copyright violations and demanding that CoH stop allowing people to copy their characters.

that's absurd.
I dont' know if they'll win, but they shouldn't. After all, CoH didn't make the copies, the players did. And how are they supposed to monitor for that thing? Stupid. Just stupid.

Actualy the user agreement forbits copying other's intellectual property and if you violate it (it a hulkish guy named the Hulk) the GM's will change it.

I found from reading around that Marvel is going to release their own MMO game probaly next year, so it looks like their either trying to strong arm the competition or bring attention to their product.

well, when it's THAT obvious it's easy, but they can't monitor every character's appearance for apparent similarity to someone else's product

That is ridiculous. I've seen plenty of copycat heroes running around from every major label. And I know if the Gaming Gods find out about any copyright violation it's taken care of. There used to be a Supergroup on my server called The Avengers and while none of the members looked like said group, they were forced to change their name.
IMO, the amount of copycat characters is a very small percent of players and rarely have I seen any of them advance beyond level 10 or so.
