You get it later on? What in the world. Is Mr. Gordon just unable to do so with his own two hands? I'm guessing its with the help of that anti-grav gun thingy. Does that thing work off of any sort of limited amount of "ammo?"

Nope. No ammo. You can fling cars off cliffs, just make sure it isn't your own one. Explosive barrels are good with it as well. Just try to make sure they don't get shot while your angling the shot up.

Sigh... I thought I'd wait until after Boards.  But I couldn't do it. It's downloading on Steam now...

I'm like a cranium rat. Stupid by myself, but proximity to smartish people (*points at SE*) gives me the ability to cast Magic Missile. Now if only Gemm would come in range...

If Gemm came into range, you'd gain the ability to cast Confuse Person.

Well, so far the game is awesome.  My system just sucks.  I meet or beat all sysreqs...but my 256 Ram is really showing.  Load times that should be fast take almost a minute and new textures cause some creeping.  It's a little annoying.  I've turned most of my settings down even under the recommended and still get this.

My drivers are a bit behind though.  I'm updating them now.  Hopefully I'll see improvement.

Man, this is frustrating

256 megs of ram is what's causeing most of your problems MR. P, updateing the drivers won't do much.  I'd go spend the $80 on another 256 megs if I were you.

I've actually been looking (just in the past hour) and can't find any for less than around $120.

I'm obviously looking in the wrong places.  Can you link me to where you can get it for $80?

comp USA, though you might need a rebate to get below $100.

Thanks!

Wow, RAM has gotten a bit more complicated since the last time I had to buy.  I'm not even sure what I need.

For example, can I just get another 256 so that I total 512 or do I need to buy a 512 and swap my 256 out?  Do they go into PCI slots?

My comp is a Dell Dimensions 8250, btw.  Any help guys?

they don't go in the PCI slots, there are slots for ram on your motherboard by the prossessor.  Most motherboards have at least 2-3 RAM slots so you should just be able to buy 1 stick of 256megs and throw it in, of course you could by 512 megs and add that too.

I beleave you should want SDRAMM DIMM RAM being the most efficient type for the money.  I'm not sure that the PIN number is for, but I'm assumeing the higher the better.

There are lots of How Too guides out there, here are a few I googled
