Half Life 2

In exactly 489 minutes, Half Life 2 will be unlocked on my copy of steam. And then I can, finally, play it.

note that wetting himself has little to nothing to do with playing halflife. He just wets himself a lot

Hmmm, I can wait another 4 years. That may be around the time I have a new computer that won't be all pissy about installing and running games by then.

in fact, most of the ENglish-speaking world outside of the US is incontinent. Or in-continental. Something like that.

Nice for those of us who don't have to work. And I have to tomorrow, leaving precious little time for games.

Still, I'm up to Highway 17, and I don't want to rush the game -I'd rather savour it.

I was close. So close to buying it. I had his face in my hand, staring at me. Looking at me so deeply I felt my soul touch my heart as I ran my fingers across the box. I looked back and forth, between him and Space Ghost Vol. 2. I paced around the aisles for a while. Saw the new DS on display and played around with that as my soul and heart raced around with each other on an unforgetable one night stand.

I then walked back to where I found him. I set him back down, looked a little further south and found IT. The "Editors Choice Edition" of UT2k4. I pondered, long, hard, thoughtfully, about it. I finally grabbed it, and my soul was crushed as my heart had found a new love.

I still had Space Ghost however. And for some reason I couldn't let the two coexist at the same time with myself. So, I took him back to his rightful place, knowing full well that he'll still be around when I have the understanding to return to him, a better and stronger person.

I checkout, leave, and later at home I install. I play a few rounds and I enjoyed every minute of it.  I am now a happier person. I am not at all belittled by the fact that I do not indeed, have Half-Life 2. I feel like I am doing a deed to myself.

Uh...

Didn't you already own UT2004? If so, the Editors choice edition has some upgrades... all of which you can download freely from the Epic site.

No, no I didn't. I have had UT2k3. I have only just today finally picked up a copy of 2k4. However my computer is the biggest jerk ever. If computers could have a nerd/geek/jock hierarchy as most high schools do, it would be the jock and I the nerd.

My anagram is in relation to how it handles anything new I try to install on it. It will, at some point in installing it, just fail and completely screw it up. Right now I am just copying/pasting the files from the DVD onto my hard drive.

Ok.

Quick review: HL2 - greatest single player FPS experience ever.

Half life 2 engine - most shiny games engine ever.

Entropy's review =  Underrating the game

Seriously, the one thing that's missing form the engine is the ability to pick up bodies. Apart from that, it's so shiny and awesome

Gemm, that's an analogy, not an anagram.

That's always very silly. But you get that ability later on.
