Bug or not, this is awesome: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/4272418.stm

It hasn't hit my realm yet (Nathrezim), but I kind of hope it does.

That's absolutely hilarious. I loved the bit about refugee's fleeing disaster zones with hundreds of bodies on the streets. Sad IRL, absolute comedy in WoW.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

In May 2000 many players of The Sims were outraged when their game characters died because of an infection contracted from a dirty virtual guinea pig.

I think I'd complain if I died due to a guinea pig as well.

I have heard of it too, but have not seen it hit my realm either (uldum).  There is a video online that has tons of screenshots of Orgrimmar hit hard with it.  Search for wow aids

Oh, that has me laughing. Belly laughing. "Horizontally, not vertically," is only one of many, many lines on that I find hilarious.

e's hamster pic again

I like the part about "butt of doom." I almost want to use that as one of my quotes, but out of context I don't think it really works.  :)

After reading Kurtz's post about the battleground exploits that Blizzards has yet to fix nor do they ban guilds who do it I'm quite glad I stopped playing the game.  Blizz has never taken exploits/cheats seriously heck in beta there was a PVP guild of Blizz employees that used hacks to sit on roof tops and take over horde towns (no one could target them due to line of site issues while they could fireball anyone in range) and all that happened when people got upset was change the names of the guild and the people in it though they did stop rooftop camping.  I won't even go into their insane methods of trying to balance classes, though to be fair every MMO with PVP that I've played had continually changing class power due people always whining about X classing being to powerfull.

Anyway I'm glad I red it since I was thinking of getting back into WoW when the expansion comes out (probably next year sometime) and this just reminded me one of my problems with the game wasn't a part of the game itself but the people running it.
