I constantly tell myself when I get married and have kids that I will not stop gaming.. Call me in a few years I'll give you an update on how that went.

Wow, nice to see an article on gaming from the point of view of a non-gamer. They are a rare kind  ::) Err... yeah
You might not know it, he might not think it, but I damn well kick ass at it!

When I lived in Japan I had a friend who said he never wanted to marry someone who played video games.  The reason?  Because he didn't want to have to come home from work and have to fight his wife over who got to play Final Fantasy.

Great article, Fish!

Now we just need to convert you to WoW, so you can play with all of us from TWG. Didn't somebody buy Fell WoW so he could play? Shouldn't somebody do that for MsFish, since she writes such awesome articles for TWG?

I nominate Tage.  ;)

*****If you have not played through final fantasy 7, there are spoilers in this post***********

*************yup spoilers below this line************************

In response to the poster mentioning the girl dying in FFXII

That was Aerith (Aeris in the English release).

I was just in middle school when playing this game, but I loved the story. Not only did I cry a little when she died, I was furious that I had played for 40+ hours, gotten her final limit break, and then she croaked.

I wound up reseting my playstation, and playing from that save point 2 more times before accepting the fact that yes...she dies, and there is nothing you can do about it.
